The four girls of REFRESH became very close friends when they started dancing at the same academy years ago. They always hang out together or go into the city to do some shopping and have fun together by practicing the newest dance moves. Because Yvette (the second girl from the right) loves to sing they came up with the plan to start “REFRESH”. By accident two Dutch dance producers discovered them during a gig at a Friday night school party. They asked the girls to record some songs in their studio and from that point things started to roll quickly.
Within two weeks “A Step Too Far”, a catchy dance single with jump and trance influences was completed and everybody was enthusiastic about the final result.The girls of “Refresh” can’t be seen as just another girl act that’s “jumping” on the bandwagon. While they create their own dance moves they like to be influenced by different styles and new trends, and because of the immense popularity of jumpstyle and that weird looking dance it’s understandable they where inspired. What kind of styles and trends the future of music may bring us, nobody knows. But fact is that REFRESH will stand the test of time by refreshing their sound and moves from time to time.
